SuMmEr FuN...

Our summer is going by WAY too fast! We have been keeping busy and having a lot of fun. We were able to spend 4th of JuLy in Twin Falls visiting Grandma & cousins.

The main thing we've been doing this summer is sWiMmInG!!! Our girls are on the KSTC summer swim league. We are up early every weekday morning for swim practice (can get CoLd on the overcast days!!!) but the girls love it! It has been a fabulous experience for us!
Here is Alexa one morning in her pre-comp class...

And here's Madison...

Jessica & her friend Amelia

Here's Jessica on the blocks getting ready to swim butterfly. She is such a pretty swimmer! This picture is from last night at our meet--we won by 100 points!!

Here's Halle and her friend Sydney (or she says Cindy...) She gets to play while sisters swim.

While HaL looks pretty innocent here, this shot was taken right before she asked her friend to dump a handful of sAnD in her hair. Hmmm....

The best part of participating in this summer league is the girls have made great friends.

HaL started swim lessons again. She does pretty good now--we've worked with her and explained that she can't jump in whenever she wants and she can't leave the wall whenever she wants. Also, she shouldn't splash the teacher. (Actually they don't really care--they're really good with her and she loves her lessons.)

Here's the girls getting ready for the pre-competition class w/Coach Matt. He is an awesome coach.

Here's the girls before practice one morning with their friend Amelia.

AND, the highlight of our summer...LoLa & the vet.

I took Lola to see Dr. Edwards for a sore paw. After x-raying her, he asked me if Lola liked golf balls. I said, "Sure, Lola likes any ball." He asked me to take a look at the x-ray. Sure enough, there was a round ball in her tummy.

I'm sure this is EXACTLY how Lola felt about it, too. We let it be for a weekend, and I thought we should just leave the ball. Dr. Edwards said that wouldn't be the best option, worked his magic, and with a trick or two, got her to throw it up.

Do you think she's learned her lesson?!?
